We are living in interesting times. We are seeing catastrophic changes to our environment: tsunamis, earthquakes, wars and uprisings, birds and fish dying in scores, to name a few. Many are living in a state of fear and uncertainty. These stories, both reality based and myth based, are perpetrating the global fear that we are in the throes of the end times. The Internet has been a catalyst for such beliefs through its far reach.
Pseudo science has been used to support various and disparate sources such as Revelations in the Bible, Hopi Indian prophesy, the writings of Nostradamus and the Mayan Calendar to validate and promote the story of the Apocalypse on December 21, 2012. Nibiru is said to have occupied the passageways of heaven and earth based on the writings in Akkadian, an extinct Mesopotamian language. The pseudo science interpretation is that it is a planetary object in a 36,000 year orbit around the sun. Its impending arrival is predicted to create a disastrous encounter with the earth.
At the same time, there is a shift occurring in the spiritual consciousness of many throughout the world. The new spiritual viewpoint is that emerging from the chaos is a new era of peace and harmony, with each other and the planet. Nibiru explores the role of the Great Mother/Black Madonna arising from the earth and seas who is calling upon our human/animal selves to bring forth the new paradigm and heal our planet and ourselves.

This idea has become mainstream though popular TV talk shows and the Internet. After the recent Japan earthquake and tsunami, Dr. Emoto made a call to the world through social media for a prayer to heal the waters of Japan. This power of belief is giving people a feeling of empowerment in a time when many are feeling powerless. It is intriguing that technology has brought us to a possible brink of disaster and yet it is also the very thing that connects us when we need to band together to heal the planet through our mutual humanity.
As well, now that humanity is starting to crack this reality into countless virtual realities, we are feeling the great divide between ourselves as human animals and a new contemporary human dependent on technology to survive. We are in a transition of finding new ways of being in and of this world and how to coexist within this reality.
The Cave : Enter this Sacred Space and Leave your Intention
The cave is a sacred space indicative of the void of possibility that exists within all of us. Inside the cave, particapants recorded their intentions for the earth and humanity which were shared through a speaker at the entrance of the gallery. At this time of transition we are becoming increasingly aware that we hold the power to deicide what our new world will be. We are the creators. Will we continue to live in a state of fear and hostility? Will we use our technology for harm and greed? Or will we choose to live in a state of peace?
My Little Book of the Apocolypse
Apocalypse is a disclosure of something hidden from the majority of mankind in an era dominated by falsehood and misconception. The word is derived from the Greek apokalupsis, a term applied to revelation or disclosure, to certain privileged persons, of what already exists, though hitherto it has been hidden, or only imperfectly known.
I created a little book that exposed several apocolyptic prophesies with accompanying visuals that appear to confirm the nepharious forecast. Over top of each prophesy is a word of hope: fath, compassion, hope, kindness, generousity, love, courage. We are the ones who can create the future by focusing on positive intentions which correlates into positve actions.
